Another long time between posts!

At last the Bentley is purring as she should. Brake squeak is fixed - it appears it was the wheel bearing all along and this was found by, well, the wheel bearing going. I still have a list of things to do, but these are now largely things like tickle the paint, give the leather a good feed/clean and generally do little jobs. I still have hyraudlic rods for the boot to fit bt never seem to get round to it.

Driving her is such a pleasure and it makes my thoughts about selling her and letting someone else have the use of such a fine vehicle all the harder, but that's where I am at, at the moment. If someone wanst to offer me £16K for her, she's yours. But until I make a firm decision, it'll only be an offer like that which would make me say goodbye.

Eventually I would be looking at a Flying Spur, later model, but I have some serious saving up to do before that happens. In the meantime it makes sense to run something cheaper on fuel for a while...

Anyway, what else has happened? There's several things been done to the beast so that mechanically she is up to spec, and that includes a new viscous coupling because the other one was pants from day one. This one now, is perfect and general driving is much, much smoother.

So, to anyone thinking of an Arnage, this one is probably as good a car you could expect on the lower end of the price bracket. She's been looked after but has also been used. Just less than 120,000 miles, in need of a little paint - no rust, just some marks that could do with sorting but it's all cosmetic. The new owner will want to give the leather another clean, it's coming due and there are one or two minor other things - front cup holder is broken but I hope to replace that. Anyway, the price reflects the little things but this car is good enough for shows, weddings and generally la-de-da-ing about the place.

More to follow when I have time! Contact me if you want more info, the history is plugged in to "Custodian" so happy to provide it.
